This page explains what WebrixLab collects when you use this website, why, and what we do with it. It is written to be read, not to cover us. If anything here is unclear, email support@webrixlab.com and we will answer plainly.

What this site collects

When you send the contact form

The form asks for your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, a budget range and your message. We also record the date and time, the IP address the submission came from, and which page you were on when you sent it.

The IP address and page are there for one reason: to tell real enquiries apart from automated spam, and to know which page produced the enquiry. They are not used to build a profile of you.

When you just read the site

Nothing that identifies you. This site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording. Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs, as every web host does.

Where your enquiry goes

Two places, both under our control:

  • It is written to a file on our own server, which is not reachable from the web.
  • It is emailed to support@webrixlab.com.

It is written to the file first, deliberately. Email can fail quietly on shared hosting; a file write does not. If the email ever breaks, your enquiry still reaches us instead of disappearing.

Third parties this site loads

Two, and only for appearance:

  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Google receives your IP address when the font files load.
  • Unsplash serves some photographs. Unsplash receives your IP address when those images load.

Neither is given your name, email or anything you type. Our Facebook link only contacts Facebook if you click it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. After that they are deleted.

If you become a client, project records are kept for as long as we work together and for seven years afterwards, because tax and accounting rules require it.

Who else sees it

Nobody outside WebrixLab, with two exceptions:

  • Our email and hosting providers, because your message physically passes through their systems.
  • Where the law requires us to hand something over.

We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry. If you want to hear from us regularly you have to ask.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete it
  • send you a copy

Email support@webrixlab.com. We will respond within 30 days, and there is no charge. You do not need to give a reason to have your data deleted.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The lead file sits outside the publicly reachable part of the server and is blocked at the web-server level. Access is limited to the people at WebrixLab who need it.

We will not pretend any of this is unbreakable. If we ever have a breach affecting your data, we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it, rather than hoping you do not notice.

Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
